Dance sculpture, 2012

Made out of crystal clear resin layered around a silicone mold of the artist’s demi-pointed foot, these two shoes each separate in equal halves closing onto each other.

They originated from a dream and symbolise imprisonment, while also alluding to Cinderella’s glass slippers. They are featured in Der Untermensch.
